Orange Bag Event

The 11th annual Orange Bag Event will be happening on May 2nd in coordination with UND’s Big Event. On Saturday morning, we will be collecting the Orange Bags we’ve distributed at the beginning of April from the South Grand Forks neighborhoods and bringing them to Optimist Park to sort.

Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals (GGFYP) is a non-profit group, created by young professionals for young professionals. GGFYP is dedicated to the growth, learning, and development of young professionals within the region. GGFYP creates a platform for members to build relationships, develop professionally, become politically and philanthropically active, and contribute to the economic development and quality of life of our community.

What We Do

• Engage young professionals to become active and involved leaders in their communities.

• Inform young professionals about the great potential and possibility of our region and state.

• Create a meaningful network where aspiring professionals can meet to network, gain career enhancement skills, and give back to the community.

• Retain young professionals to continue to create an intentional workforce pipeline for existing, expanding and new business in the region
